Cinodelia RPG Wiki (Decommissioned)
This was a DokuWiki I hosted to plan a new tabletop RPG with my friends, called Cinodelia. The content within were private, but here I’ll share my reflections in hosting this wiki.
The wiki was hosted as a droplet on Digital Ocean, specifically a PHP droplet where I could enter a SSH session to install any compatible web apps that I wish to run. In addition to installing Dokuwiki in this droplet, I have also performed the following tasks, before sharing it with my friends for actual use:
- Managing DNS records to direct the root domain to the droplet correctly
- Creating subdomain and direct its traffic to the app’s destination through Nginx proxy
- Creating accounts and organising user permission for the wiki
- Configuring the look and feel for the wiki
